Will you be sharing my brand and imagery?I often share my work on my website and social media platforms. This allows potential clients to see the quality and style of my work. However, please do not assume that your photos will automatically be posted. If you prefer that they not be shared until a certain date, please let me know. I'm more than happy to accommodate your needs to ensure that your launch or promotional activities go smoothly.

Who owns copyright for the photographs?As the photographer, I legally I retain the copyright. However I grant you a lifetime image license which gives you permission to use the photographs as you wish.

Do I need to credit you when I use the images?If you’re being featured in an online article or in a printed magazine, I do ask to be credited. Tagging me on social media isn't compulsory but I'm always very grateful when clients do.

What are your licence terms?Non-Exclusive License Agreement This Non-Exclusive License Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into as of [Date] ("Effective Date"), by and between [Your Name or Business Name] ("Photographer") and [Client Name] ("Client"). 1. Grant of License. Photographer grants to Client a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the photographs ("Photos") described in Exhibit A for the following purposes: [Specify the intended use of the Photos, e.g., marketing, advertising, promotional materials, etc.] 2. Ownership and Copyright. Photographer retains all rights, including copyright, in and to the Photos. This Agreement does not transfer ownership of the Photos to Client. 3. Permitted Uses. Client may use the Photos for the purposes described in Section 1. Client may not sell, distribute, or transfer the Photos to any third party without Photographer's prior written consent. 4. Photographer's Rights. Photographer retains the right to use the Photos in Photographer's portfolio, website, and marketing materials. Photographer may also license the Photos to other clients. 5. Term and Termination. This Agreement shall commence on the Effective Date and shall continue until terminated by either party upon written notice. Upon termination, Client shall cease using the Photos and return or destroy all copies of the Photos in its possession. 6. Warranty and Liability. Photographer warrants that it has the right to grant the license granted herein. Photographer shall not be liable to Client for any damages, including but not limited to incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, arising out of Client's use of the Photos. 7. Miscellaneous. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your State/Country]. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be resolved by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Can you include hand models in your photo shoots?Absolutely, integrating hand models into product photography can create visually compelling and impactful images. Please let me know if you would like me to include models in your shoot, extra charges will apply.

What is your pricing structure?I am committed to providing beautiful and affordable imagery tailored for small brands, creatives, and independent makers. My pricing is structured to be transparent and accessible: Basic Package A single shoot includes a minimum of 10 fully edited photographs for £120. This package includes two set-ups and professional editing of all images. Additional photographs are available at £12.00 each. There is no limit to the number of photographs you can order. Subscription Plan For ongoing needs, a monthly shoot is available at £80 per month, with a minimum commitment of 3 months. Each shoot includes at 10 fully edited photographs across two set-ups. Additional Set-Ups Need more variety? Additional set-ups can be added for £25 each. Re-Shoots/Extra Photos (under 10 images) Re-shoots are available at £25 per set-up, with each additional image priced at £15. Please note: Return postage will be included on your invoice. ​​

What is the expected turnaround time for receiving my photos?Under normal circumstances, you can expect to receive your pictures within 10 working days following the photoshoot. However, in certain cases, where a variety of set ups are requested or there is insufficient natural light, the processing time may be extended. Any such variations will be communicated to you in a timely manner.

Do I need to supply the props for my shoot?I have a wide variety of props available for use during your photoshoot. However, if you have specific props you would like to incorporate into your photos, please feel free to send them with your products. I am more than happy to work with the props you provide to create the perfect look for your photos. Additionally, if you need assistance in sourcing props for your shoot, I am always here to help. Just let me know what you're looking for, and I will do my best to find the perfect props to make your photoshoot a success.

How can I prepare for my photo shoot?I'll provide you with a comprehensive shot planning list to assist in your preparation. In the interim, take a look at my portfolio or conduct online research for inspiration—Pinterest is an excellent resource. Think about the background style and props that resonate with your vision. When sending your products, please ensure your products are securely packed to maintain the integrity of labels and packaging.

How do I receive my photographs?The final images will be uploaded to a private viewing gallery (Pixieset) where you can select your favourite images, and once payment is cleared, download your high resolution files.

How long will my photographs be stored for?Your photographs will be stored on Pixieset for one week after the download code has been issued. It is important to download and back up your photos within this timeframe to ensure you have access to them in the future. If you have any concerns about this timeline, alternative options are available upon request.

What happens to my products after the shoot?Your products (and any props you have sent or paid for) will be posted back to you upon sign off of your images. Please note, return postage charges will appear on your invoice.

What are your terms and conditions?The following words or expressions shall have the meanings stated: "the Photographer" means Charlotte Dillon trading as Charlotte Dillon Photography. "The customer" means the person identified as the customer on a Booking or Order Form. "Material" means all photographs, prints, or other products comprising or containing a reproduction of any form of photographic material, and which has been created by the Photographer. "Order" means any request, order, commission or instruction by or on behalf of the Customer, for the creation of Material by the Photographer. In which the customer instructs the Photographer to create Material. "Price" means the price for an Order. An Order shall be subject to the following provisions: The Photographer licenses the Customer to utilise the material produced as a result of the customer's order, to the extent set out in writing between the Customer and the Photographer. Any breach of such license shall automatically revoke such license; without further notification from the Photographer. Unless specifically otherwise agreed in writing between the Photographer and the Customer, the Photographer is entitled to utilise material ordered by the Customer for the advertising, marketing and promotion of the Photographer's business. The Photographer shall be entitled to sub-contract their obligations under an order at their discretion. Save as otherwise agreed between the customer and the photographer, the photographer shall be entitled to use his judgment regarding the style and artistic input in the production of material. The photographer shall not be liable to the customer for any failure, in whole or in part, to fulfil their obligations under an order where the failure arises as a result of an event or circumstances beyond their control, which may include (but are not limited to) equipment failure, inclement weather, illness or injury. The Customer will pay the price by the provisions set out in the agreed contract. The customer hereby allows the photographer to display any images covered by this contract to generally promote the business using advertising, publicity material, websites, exhibitions, competitions, magazine articles, and other such media; providing that the images are used lawfully and without damage to the customer. Data Policy Your data may be used by Charlotte Dillon Photography to advise you of products, services and special promotions. Should you wish to be removed from our database please let us know. Your data will not be shared with third parties. License and Coverage The photographer shall be granted artistic license in relation to the styling of photographs. Although every effort will be made to comply with the Customers´ requirements, the photographers’ judgment regarding the styling and staging shall be deemed correct. This also includes post-production decisions. Charlotte Dillon Photography will endeavour to comply with the customer's requirements, subject to artistic licence, therefore any reshoots will be charged at the original agreed fee. Any alterations made to the booking by the customer, once details have been confirmed, may only be made at the discretion of the photographer. If unable to accommodate alternative arrangements the photographer is not liable to compensate the customer(s) in any way whatsoever. Image Reproduction Due to the limitations of computer monitors, it is understood that images may appear differently according to the specifications of each monitor. Cancellation Policies Please provide a minimum of seven days’ notice for a cancellation. I reserve the right to cancel your session at any time by giving you written notice. If I cancel your session you will be reimbursed any other money you have already paid. In the event of cancellation by the photographer, the photographers liability shall be limited to a full refund of any deposits and fees paid. Re-shoots may be arranged if practicable but the photographer will not be responsible for any further costs. Copyright Copyright in all material is retained worldwide by the photographer always, and nothing shall be deemed as a release. The 1988 Copyright Act assigns the copyright to the photographer. It is contrary to the Act to copy, publish, reproduce or store images electronically unless the express permission of Charlotte Dillon Photography has been purchased. Display The photographer reserves the right for any photograph created during sessions to be displayed in the studio, portfolio, or in any other advertising directly associated with Charlotte Dillon Photography. Force Majeure Every effort will be made to carry out the contract, but its due performance is subject to alteration or cancellation by the Photographer; owing to any cause beyond their control (e.g. acts of God, change in legislation, floods, fire, computer failure, etc.). In the unlikely event of total photographic failure or cancellation of this contract by the Photographers, liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid. Liability The Photographer shall not be liable for indirect loss or third-party claims occasioned by delay in completing the work or for any loss to customers arising from delay in delivery. Where work is defective for any reason, including negligence, liability (if any) shall be limited to rectifying such defect. License The Photographer shall be granted artistic license in relation to the styling and digital retouching. Editing Standard Editing includes correcting levels, colour balance, and general tidying up of the chosen image(s). Beyond Standard Editing when products arrive damaged and in need of detailed retouching additional editing will be charged at £20.00 per hour. The Customer must check with the Photographer what editing will be included in the cost of the shoot. Once images have been viewed by the Customer, any additional editing or post-production shall be charged at £40.00 per hour with a minimum of one hour being charged. Delivery Policy Products will be packaged securely and returned to the customer after the material has been approved. Charlotte Dillon Photography takes no responsibility for the delivery service or the condition of the products on arrival. Return & Refunds Policy Once the photographs have been approved and downloaded no returns will be accepted, nor will Charlotte Dillon Photography generate any refunds. Storage of Images Original digital images are kept on an active file for one week, after which time they will be deleted unless they are to be used for marketing purposes. The entire copyright is retained by Charlotte Dillon Photography, at all times, throughout the world. Charlotte Dillon Photography supplies the technical and artistic ability to illustrate an idea photographically and sells the right to reproduce those pictures in a given context. Charlotte Dillon asserts both her moral right to be identified as the author of her work and the right to credit is asserted by sections 77 and 78 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, if any picture reproduced by the Customer omits the copyright notice, or credit line specified by Charlotte Dillon Photography any fee payable by the Customer shall be subject to an increase specified by Charlotte Dillon Photography, and in any event an increase of not less than 25%. If payment of the invoice is not made within 14 days then Charlotte Dillon Photography may rescind this Agreement and recover damages, or, at its option, may exercise its statutory right to interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. A fee of £25 will be made for each account reminder, duplicate invoice, or any other paperwork, correspondence or phone calls involved with the pursuit of a debt. This fee is non-refundable and represents the additional time spent pursuing overdue invoices. Charlotte Dillon Photography reserves the right to suspend ongoing services, such as (but not limited to) the Downloadable Web Page, or other distribution of pictures, once any invoice issued to a Customer becomes overdue, and also reserves the right to inform the reason of this to third parties to whom this suspension of service affects. In the case of printed publications, three copies of the relevant pages containing any picture supplied are to be furnished to Charlotte Dillon Photography free of charge within two weeks. In other media, evidence of use must be made available if requested. Payment Payment should normally be made by bank transfer, payable to Charlotte Dillon Photography. BACS details will be supplied with our invoice. Prices stated are in Pounds Sterling (£) and include VAT (sales tax). Photographs will not be available for download until payment has cleared. Charlotte Dillon Photography reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. Please see Product Photography Terms of Agreement.

What are you Product Photography terms of agreement?PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY AGREEMENT 1. Services Provided a. The Photographer agrees to provide product photography services to the Client as described in the project scope provided by the Client. b. The services may include but are not limited to product styling, photography, post-processing, and image delivery. 2. Ownership and Usage 2.1 The Client acknowledges that the Photographer retains the copyright and ownership of all photographs taken during the project. 2.2 The Client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the photographs for the agreed-upon purposes. 2.3 The Client may use the photographs for marketing, advertising, social media, and promotional purposes related to their products. Any additional usage requires prior written consent from the Photographer. 2.4 The Client is permitted to make reasonable alterations or modifications to the images as necessary for their intended use. Reasonable alterations include, but are not limited to, cropping, colour corrections, resizing, adding text for captions or branding, applying filters that do not substantially alter the image's character, and adding non-obtrusive watermarks. However, alterations that materially change the image's composition, subject matter, or artistic intent are not considered reasonable and require prior written consent from the Photographer. 3. Payment and Terms 3.1 The invoice with any additional fees for props shall be paid by the Client upon completion of the photography services and before the delivery of the final edited photographs. 4. Delivery of Photographs 4.1The photographs will be delivered in a high-resolution digital format suitable for the intended usage. 4.2 The Client understands that the Photographer may retain the raw or unedited files at their discretion. 5. Client Responsibilities 5.1 The Client will ensure that all products are clean, undamaged, and in suitable condition for photography. 5.2 The Client will provide clear instructions and guidelines regarding the desired outcome of the product photography. 6. Confidentiality 6.1 Both parties agree to keep all confidential information exchanged during the project confidential and not disclose it to any third party without prior consent.
